You are Him

When Your presence overcomes me, I love You.
When I can’t feel or hear You, I still love You.
When I get more than I prayed for, I love You.
When I don’t get the miracle or the answer I wanted, I still love You.
I will love You on the mountain and I will love You in the valley.
I will love You in the morning and I will love You in the midnight hour.
I love You because You first loved me.
You set me free from chains that I thought were a part of me.
There is not a praise I can sing that could exalt You high enough.
You are my King. I own You everything.
My heart has echoed Your song
The one You’ve been singing over me for
Only You know how long!
Your presence rest on me like a sweet scent
Not everyone likes it
Still I will represent
When it starts to fade, is my reminder to dine with You again
To light my candle again.
You are Him.

The One I can’t live without
The One who kindled within me a flame that no one can put out.
What have You done to me?
I am like putty in Your hands.
You’ve broken me to rebuild me.
You’ve shattered me to shape me.
You’ve increased me to decrease me to increase more of You in me.
Molding me into Your image every step I take with You.
How You’ve humbled me so that my confidence can be in You.
What did I do to be seen as favorable in Your sight?
What posture did I take?
What prayer did I pray?
Blessed am I to be set apart for You.
To be chosen by You.
To be corrected by You.
I am Yours.
All glory and honor I get, is Yours.
I am who I am because of who You are and what You’ve done.
You are Him.
The One who wipes away my sin.
The One who wipes away my tears
And makes me whole again.
You are Him.

You fill my void.
You took my place
You’ve seen me at my worst and loved me anyways.
You died for our sins
But we must not forget,
You died for our offenders sins too
Help us forgive.
Even if heaven wasn’t promised I would still be devout.
Better is 1 day in Your midst than a thousand out.
Everyone is looking to find in the world what can only be found in You.
But I’ve studied You word and found Truth.
You are a jealous God
You desire to have all of us
and You are not a man that You will settle for less.
